To all members,
See below , the maybird was built in Arklow in 1937 and will be in Arklow for a few days in September , they already offered to Take a few scouts , a few members of ASC for a sail in the bay during their stay.
Please let us know if you are interested in going out for a splash and we will try and arrange a event.

On Saturday 10th September Maybird will be sailing back to her birthplace.She was built 74 years ago at Arklow,Ireland by Jack Tyrrell in 1937.The cruise will be split into 3 legs,each one lasting roughly 7 days.Crew places are available at £85 per person per day. Leg 1: Saturday 10th SeptemberHamble,Dartmouth,Fowey,Newlyn,Kinsale Leg 2:Saturday 17th September Kinsale,Crosshaven,Cork Harbour,Waterford,Arklow Leg 3:Saturday 24th September Arklow,Milford Haven,Falmouth,Dartmouth, Hamble. You can sign up for as many days as you like,subject only to the weather and the tide-just like in 1937! Contact Darryl to discuss either by phone or email.
